Cheri- you are too funny! I had to look my tree up in my tree book. So I too am an arbor-ignoramus. Francis is one of my favs. A true companion on my journey.
How could such a peaceful soul freak out anybody? Well I suppose if one were an aetheist (which I hear Tom is).
Never been to Nebraska before. That is one of the few states I haven't? I must confess I never had much of an idea as to what you would find there, but your photos look lovely!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying such nice things! I knew there was a reason I do this. . .
Your yard looks like mine, right down to St. Francis! Any animal lover belongs in my yard, even if he iss short, a reminder of my scary Catholic upbringing, and made of concrete.

Lovely! I'm so glad you are finally getting spring. I like the little St. Francis.
Karen, do you recognize that poem? I got it from you.

Oh, and I totally meant to tell you that the poem is what caught my eye--my dad used to say that all the time! Thanks for a delightful memory.
I am usually not this scatterbrained, and on a normal (?) day would have wrapped this all up in one concise comment. I beg forgiveness.
